Probably the friendliest and most beautiful country I have ever visited. The national parks are the best I have ever seen, and its the only country in the world where I asked a bus driver directions and he actually got off the bus to point them out to me. Only downside to Canada for backpackers is; its expensive, and hard to navigate between cities due to its mass size and lack of public transport.

Hostels in Canada cost around $30 CAD, but in built up cities expect to pay even more. $60 CAD an upward for budget hotels

Sit down restaurant meals can cost upward of $20 CAD.

A pint of beer on average costs $6 CAD (outside of happy hours).
